How DAF System Works: Streamlined & Efficient Process

 

The DAF system's operation revolves around a precise, low-complexity workflow. First, pressurized dissolved air water (generated by the integrated air dissolution system) is pumped into an air releaser, where pressure is reduced to produce 15-30μm micro-bubbles. These tiny bubbles have strong adhesion, quickly attaching to suspended solids in the wastewater. The bubble-contaminant aggregates become lighter than water, floating upward to form a scum layer on the surface. A specialized skimmer system then scrapes this scum into a sludge tank for centralized disposal. The clarified water at the bottom flows into a clean water tank, with at least 30% recycled back to the air dissolution system to ensure operational efficiency, while the remaining portion is either discharged directly or pumped to subsequent treatment processes.
