Classification Of Grilles

Based on the shape, grilles can be divided into two types: flat grilles and curved grilles. Flat grilles are composed of bars and frames. Curved grilles can be divided into fixed curved grilles and rotating drum grilles. According to the net spacing of the grille bars, they can be divided into three types: coarse grilles (50~100mm), medium grilles (10~40mm), and fine grilles (1.5~10mm). Both flat grilles and curved grilles can be made into three types: coarse, medium, and fine. Since grilles are important facilities for physical treatment, newly designed sewage treatment plants generally use coarse and medium grilles, or even three coarse, medium, and fine grilles. According to the slag cleaning method, grilles can be divided into two types: manual slag cleaning grilles and mechanical slag cleaning grilles. Manual slag cleaning grilles are suitable for small sewage treatment plants. When the amount of screen slag is greater than 0.2m3/d, in order to improve the working and sanitary conditions of workers, mechanical slag cleaning grilles should be used.
