Q1: Can I use play sand or beach sand in my pool filter?

A: No. Play sand contains impurities, organic matter, and inconsistent grain sizes that cause channeling, poor filtration, and rapid clogging. Only use certified filter sand like ours-acid-washed, graded, and tested for hydraulic performance.

Q2: How much filter sand do I need for my system?

A: It depends on your tank size. General rule:

- Pool filter (24" tank): ～300 lbs (136 kg)

- Municipal filter cell (1 m² area): ～150–200 kg per 75 cm depth
