Utilizing imported Dow Chemical (DOW) reverse osmosis membrane elements, high-quality pressure vessels, and imported AR high-pressure pumps from Italy, and equipped with a reasonable pretreatment system, it effectively removes inorganic salts, heavy metal ions, organic matter, bacteria, viruses, and other harmful substances from the water, desalinating brackish water/seawater to drinking water standards that meet the World Health Organization (WHO) standards. This effectively solves the drinking water problem in water-scarce areas.
As the content of salt in the seawater is too high, it can not be used directly; there are mainly two methods to desalinate seawater: distillation and reverse osmosis. Distillation is mainly used for super-huge type seawater desalination, and in a heat energy-rich area, energy consumption is very high. Reverse Osmosis is very widely applicable, with low energy consumption and a high desalination rate, so it's widely used.
